4-H Summer Day Camp is held at various locations around the county and is the perfect place for your child’s educational summer fun. 4-H Summer Day Camp provides a safe and fun environment where your child can learn and grow. Each camp will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. This camp will be at Knotts Island School located at 413 Woodleigh Road in Knotts Island - July 21 - 25, 2025.

Youth ages 5 (must have completed kindergarten) to 12, participate in age-appropriate, learning-centered activities that encourage new skills, leadership, independence, and friendship.

Each day will present a new educational theme with a wide variety of enrichment activities to keep campers engaged. Hands-on experiments, outdoor environmental activities, art projects, games, music, and field trips are just a few examples of the fun that will be experienced at 4-H Summer Day Camp. The Field trip will be on Wednesday each week and we will visit the Children's Museum in Portsmouth.

Camp will be held from 9am-3pm. A registration fee of $85.00 is required, which includes supplies and materials for educational activities and crafts, insurance, safety and first aid supplies and equipment, off-site educational program fees, transportation fees and a 4-H Swag Bag

Week1 is June 30 to July 3, 2025 at Moyock Middle School

Week 2 is July 7 - 11, 2025 at Shawboro Elementary School

Week 3 is July 14 - 18, 2025 at Central Elementary School

Week 4 is July 21 - 25, 2025 at Knotts Island School

Week 5 is July 28 to August 1, 2025 at Jarvisburg Elementary School

Registration is not complete until your child is enrolled in NC 4-H for the 2025 program year. The link to do that is https://v2.4honline.com/#/user/sign-in.

We are accepting cash and check payments in addition to paying via credit card through Eventbrite. Please, make checks payable to NCSU. Checks and cash payments can be received at the Currituck Extension Office located at 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917, within 5 days of registration. Class size is limited and full registration, including payment, is required to hold your spot.
